SBHY Returns Policy (Australia + International)

We hope you love your SBHY gear, but, if something isn’t quite right, here’s how returns work:


1) Change of mind returns (30 days)

You can return items purchased on our website within 30 days of the original purchase date for a refund, provided the item is:

  • Unused, unworn, unwashed
  • In as-new condition
  • With tags still attached
  • Returned in original packaging (or packaging that protects the item properly)

2) Return shipping (Australia vs International)

Australia: For eligible returns within Australia, we’ll email you a prepaid return label (free return shipping).

International (outside Australia): Return shipping is at the customer’s cost. You can use any trackable shipping service you prefer. We recommend choosing a service with tracking, as you’re responsible for the parcel until it reaches our returns address.

Note: For international returns, any duties, taxes, or import fees paid on the original order are generally non-refundable (these are charged by local authorities, not SBHY).

3) Final Sale / Outlet items

Items marked Final Sale, Outlet, Clearance, or similar are not eligible for change-of-mind returns (examples: wrong size, colour preference, style change).
If a final sale item arrives faulty or we’ve sent the wrong item, we’ll sort it out in line with Australian Consumer Law (see section 5).

4) Refunds and processing time

  • Refunds are issued back to the original payment method
  • We process returns once your item is received and inspected at our warehouse
  • Please allow up to 10 business days from delivery to our warehouse for processing (your bank/payment provider may take additional time to show it)

If your original payment method can’t accept refunds, we won’t be able to process a return for that purchase.

5) Faulty items and consumer guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If your item is faulty, not as described, or has a major problem, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

6) Purchases made outside our website

SBHY can only accept returns for items purchased directly from our website.

7) Returns integrity

We reserve the right to decline a return or adjust a refund where returned items are not received in a resalable condition, or where return activity indicates misuse of the returns process. Where a return is declined, we will provide the reason and, where applicable, next steps.

8) How to initiate a return

To start a return, please initiate it via the Contact Us page on our website or by emailing us (hello@SBHYalpine.com) with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you’re returning
  • The reason for return (e.g. size, style, incorrect item, fault)

9) How the return label works (Australia)

Once your return request is approved, we’ll email you a prepaid return label. Here’s what happens:

  1. Receive your label by email (PDF or link). It’s addressed to our returns location and billed to SBHY.
  2. Pack the item securely with tags attached, and seal the parcel properly
  3. Print + attach the label to the outside of the parcel, covering any old shipping labels.
  4. Drop it off at the carrier location shown in the label instructions (or arrange pickup if available).
  5. We inspect + refund once it arrives and passes inspection.

10) How to return internationally (outside Australia)

  1. Initiate the return via our Contact Us page or by email so we can provide the returns address and any instructions.
  2. Ship it back at your cost using a trackable service.
  3. Include your order details inside the parcel (name + order number) so we can match it quickly.
  4. Once it arrives and passes inspection, we process your refund.
